How do I get started?
Contact StarSeed Gems by sending us an email at mcheney5@cfl.rr.com.
In that email give us your name, mailing address so that we can send you a free ash collection kit. We will include up to 5 sample stones (you choose the colors from our home page). There will be postage in the kit for you to return the samples (please!) and ashes, too, if you decide to order.
How many ashes do you need?
Only one tsp. of powdery ashes will make many, many stones.
How much money do I have to send with the order?
You pay when your order is complete and you’ve received a paypal invoice with photos.
How long does the process take?
Anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks, although, if you have a deadline for us we’ll do everything possible to meet it for you.
What care is taken with loved ones’ ashes?
The ashes are immediately labeled, placed into a separate drawer and any equipment we use is washed in one of our butterfly gardens so that any residual ashes become a part of a butterfly’s life cycle. All unused ashes, all extra stones, anything with ashes, are returned to the client.
What sort of payment do you accept?
We prefer Paypal because it helps us in our record keeping, we can print your shipping label right from the paid invoice, and we don’t have to know what your card (debit or credit) information is….the Paypal site does it all, including monetary exchange for international clients.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes, and the only difference is that StarSeeds pays for half the shipping and the client pays for the other half (usually about $14 each).
Why are our gems and jewelry not as expensive?
We only hope to provide assistance to those healing from loss, and only want to cover the cost of production and a small profit. We do not wish to exploit anyone, especially someone who is grieving.
